Narrative
The Student Services Suite in Jupiter Campus is interested in purchasing a customer check in system called Lobby Central, to improve our customer service to students and data collection. This suite provides Admissions, Financial Aid, Advising, Registrar, Testing, and Owl Card Services to students on the Jupiter Campus. We have witnessed the success of Lobby Central on the Boca Raton Campus in Admissions and Financial Aid. The Davie Campus One-Stop Shop has been utilizing Lobby Central for over a year. Lobby Central offers Check-In Management, Real-time Notifications, Online Scheduling and Comprehensive Analytics. In March of this year, we began tracking students as they check in with an excel spreadsheet. We have provided service to over 900 unduplicated students in under 7 months. This excel check in process is time consuming and not without many user error flaws. Not all staff has access to the system, and many times students are provided service without checking in; leading to flawed data. Students are also transferred from one office to another without tracking - so we are not accurately recording all services provided. The Lobby Central system would allow students to check themselves in and provide immediate notification to services staff members, which would speed the waiting time for all students. Student Affairs and Enrollment Management would benefit with detailed data on student services, and allow us to better manage our resources and plan for staffing during peak times. Lobby Central would allow us to provide more efficient services to our students and better data to our administration.
