Narrative
Powering up for our students! Over the past three years, the Omni chargers, which provide portable power to phones, laptops and tablets, have been a huge success with our student body, but many have now reached their end of life for their batteries. Students can study with their electronic devices, knowing they won’t be interrupted by a lack of power. This can reduce stress and help students to study longer. To continue supporting students’ tech needs, the Library is looking to replace our stock with 40 new Omni 20 USB-C chargers. These portable chargers have proven invaluable for keeping devices powered throughout the day. Additionally, we plan to add a charging base for the Jupiter Campus Library to ensure students at that campus have access to convenient charging solutions.

Jupiter - omnicharge Power Station 10X (Black) @ $3,600.00

Sustainability
The hardware will have to be maintained and replaced as necessary with Tech Fee funding or library funds.
