Narrative
The Department of Visual Arts and Art History seeks funds to purchase a HD-LCD projector and doc camera for the graphic design computer lab & classroom (building #53, room 115). This lab accommodates over 700 design majors. The lab reserves scheduled courses Monday thru Friday: sixteen courses every fall semester; fourteen courses every spring semester. The lab also reserves space for seminars and open lab for design majors during weekend hours.
The nature of the program requires HD-LCD projection to conduct, perform and examine specific details for visual analysis. The doc camera features the projection of 3-D products, another requirement for the design program.
